KALTOSTAT is a calcium alginate wound exudate absorber for moderately to heavily draining wounds. It may be appropriately used for Stage II and IV pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, arterial and diabetic ulcers, donor sites, superficial burn wounds, surgical incisions, abrasions, lacerations and traumatic wounds. Available in flat dressings or wound packing rope.

To relieve symptoms of plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. In addition, may relieve symptoms of peroneal and tibial nerve entrapment. By increasing flexibility of the plantar fascia ligament, the likelihood of further strain or tearing is decreased, enhancing the healing process.

To be worn during inactivity (sleeping), the Pro-Tec Night Splint gently stretches the plantar fascia ligament, promoting flexibility. Terrycloth cover slips over a polypropylene shell, keeping the foot in comfortable dorsiflexion. Removable heel wedge raises toes, increasing stretch slightly. Adjustable ankle strap holds heel deep into heel cup portion of brace.

The TRU-CLOSE Suction Drainage System is designed to be a completely closed system for abscess and other fluid drainage. Compact and self-contained system allows full patient ambulation. During activation, body fluids are not aerosolized because all fluids are contained in the system. Closed system design reduces the chances of cross-contamination. Dual anti-reflux valves prevent liquids and air from backing up into the catheter or wound drain. All TCS bags come with a standard luer lock connector to fit all luer-locking drainage catheters. In addition to the standard luer lock connector, the TCS300D comes with two straight connectors to be used with post surgical wound drains. If the bellows fills, flow to the bag continues via gravity drainage as long as the bag is below the level of the drainage site.
