Patient Lifts
Patient lifts allow an individual to be lifted and transferred with minimal effort and greater safety. Slings connect to the lifts arms and assist in the transfer by cradling the patient.
Overhead patient lifts can be mounted to the ceiling or walls. They are ideal for transferring a user in a fixed way. These are intended for long term use without deviation.
Portable patient lifts utilize a lifting arm to assist patients in transfers. The wheels on the base of the lift allow it to be moved from room to room as needed.
Sit to Stand patient lifts are specifically designed for patients who have difficulty standing from a seated position without assistance. Pool Lifts, on the other hand, are patient lifts designed for use in or around a pool.
When trying to determine what type of patient lift you need, consider the weight of the patient, the type of transfer(s) the lift will be needed for, what caregiver support will be available during a transfer and the length of time the device will be needed.
In addition to the lifts, we have a large selection of patient lifts to fit the user and type of transfer. We also carry a select number of replacement parts and other lift accessories that may be needed.
If you need assistance determining which patient lift will work best, please contact our friendly and knowledgeable customer service representatives who would be happy to make sure you have the information you need to make an informed decision.
