Walkers / Canes / Crutches
Finding the right Walker, Cane or Crutches will improve your mobility. Shop our walkers, canes and crutches to determine which is right for your mobility needs, comfort and preferences.
Walkers are designed to meet a wide range of patient needs. Walkers can be designed to have a wider frame for better patient stability, for one hand use for stroke patients, extra durability for larger patients, provide upper body support or push down breaks for patients with limited hand function, or for use during post-op patient exercises. Some of the walkers listed are hybrid rollators having two wheels on the front and standard legs on the back. Hybrid walkers can be lifted and then with the weight of the walker resting on the wheels, the walker can then be slid forward.
Unlike standard walkers, Rolling walkers or Rollators have three or more wheels, brakes and do not need to be lifted to move forward. Rollators are also easy to maneuver because the wheels swivel. Rollators should not be used to support body weight because this can result in a fall. Some Rollators have a seat for resting while on the go.
Canes are designed with varying heights, grips and bases to meet your specific mobility needs. We have standard straight canes or quad foot canes that provide greater stability during use.
Crutches come in several designs to ensure you get the support you need for your specific mobility needs. Whether you need crutches for recovery, heavy duty crutches rated for 600+ pounds, or forearm crutches finding the right one will improve mobility and comfort.
