Proven durable construction with double crossbars and gusseted frame makes the Tuffcare 497 series the ideal reclining heavy duty wheelchair for institutional use. Hydraulic assist fully reclining backrest reclines to 180 degrees. Detachable headrest extension includes head pad.

Large 8x2 casters provide strength and long life with airless maintenance free inserts. Rear wheels are 24 x 1 3/8 mag wheels with a reliable airless insert.
