The Handheld Shower Head Spray with Diverter Valve by Drive Medical was designed to provide the user with a relaxing experience when showering. Included with the hand held shower spray is a diverter valve which allows the user to switch water flow from the regular shower head to the handheld shower spray with the flick of a switch. The 80" white reinforced hose is durable and allows for maneuverability increasing control over your bathing experience. When using your traditional shower head the handheld shower spray can be anchored in the holder which is included. An added feature built into the handle is an on / off switch which allows the user a simple way to turn the water flow on or off. Now with 1/2 inch more lateral positioning support, it is designed primarily for the person at moderate risk for skin breakdown who sits with a fixed posterior pelvic tilt. The integrated JAY Flow fluid pad provides pressure and shear reduction for the client who is at moderate risk for skin breakdown.

The reinforced curved bottom counteracts the negative effects associated with sling upholstery providing a level surface for optimal pelvic position. The contoured base provides a longer seat well to accommodate fixed "sacral sitting".

The JAY Flow fluid pad, combined with the soft foam base conforms to the shape of the client's pelvis, providing optimal shear reduction as well as enhanced pressure distribution. The fluid Tripad incorporates left, right and rear sections to maintain the fluid under bony areas.

Without compromising the wound, allows a drain tube to be introduced into a wound drainage collector or ostomy pouch. Provides a secure seal between the catheter, drain tube and the wound drainage collector. Accommodates virtually all catheter/drain tube sizes.
