| Description | The Catalyst 5 Ti features all of the options of the Catalyst 5 in titanium, including swing away footrests. Titanium is a fantastic metal for wheelchairs. Very light, very stiff and resistant to scratching and corrosion. The Catalyst 5 Ti uses the alloy Ti3AL/2.5V, which is twice as strong as aluminum at the same weight. Ki Mobility also offers titanium cross braces. One of the benefits of titanium is its stiffness; using it in your cross braces improves rigidity while making the chair lighter. The Catalyst 5 Ti with titanium cross braces weighs only 21.5 pounds and just 22 pounds with aluminum! |
