The Carroll CS5 Hospital Bed from Invacare is feature rich and a great looking bed that doesn't have the usual hospital bed look. Customizable head/foot boards allow you to find a style and color option that matches your decor.

These bed packages include a CS5 bed frame, Amherst bed ends and Assist Bar. You can choose whether you want a 36 or 42 inch bed width and the color of the bed ends. While a bed mattress is NOT included with these packages, we have recommended several mattress options for each bed width that will work with the corresponding bed frame width if you want to add a mattress as well.

Some key features of the Carroll CS5 Hi-Low Bed: First, With a pure vertical rise allows the bed to raise and lower with zero movement of the casters which minimizes potential damage to walls or flooring. These bed packages include a one-touch floor lock which prevents the casters from moving. When unlocked, however, the bed can be moved regardless of the deck height.

An ergonomic 6-button hand pendant fits comfortably in hand and can be positioned on either side of the bed for your convenience. The water-resistant controls have independent head and leg height adjustments as well as a full bed height controls.

The exclusive slat deck design provides a comfortable sleep surface while improving infection control by allowing more air to reach the bottom of the mattress which prevents moisture buildup. This design also reduces wear and tear on the mattress compared to traditional designs thus extending the life of the mattress.

Finally, the Carroll CS5 doesn't require tools for assembly, making setup and adjustments simple and easy.
