The Birillo is a pre-gait trainer/mobile corner sitter that allows a child to practice reciprocal leg movement patterns in a seated position and is a good precursor to walking. A height and depth adjustable front grab bar ensures safety without hindering transfers. Seat to floor height is adjustable. Headrest and tray are available.

The gait trainer stimulates the child's curiosity of exploring the surrounding environment. Birillo was conceived and thought to let children from ages 2 to 8 years old precociously move by themselves in the sitting position.

The triangular siting position prevents extreme hip and trunk extension and lets the child's head and trunk line up providing proper posture for moving. The abduction block keeps the pelvis in the triangular seating position.

Customize support by selecting from a variety of prompts, designed to adapt to the changing needs of each person. Prompts mount anywhere along the top bar, and are easily removed when the user no longer needs them. Simple, two-handed frame height adjustment in one-inch increments. Easy rear access for transfers. Users can face either direction. Innovative casters have separate swivel lock, brake, variable drag, and one-way ratchet control features. Use any combination to control the Pacer's speed and direction. Frame fits in your car trunk. Use the two-handed release catch to unlock the frame.
